July In Pictures

1 Aug

Since I didn’t get to write too much about, I figured I would show you some of what went down….

In an attempt to pick out a 4th of July outfit, I learned I own entirely too many red, white, and blue clothes.

Fun with flags.

The boys next door decide to class it up and beat the heat with an inflatable baby pool and beer pong….at 11am.

Pool day with my ladies.

My husband’s baby played a show. It included a song he wrote called “No Baby Blues.” I’ll have to share more about that later…

Attempt number one at getting fancy in the kitchen: pan-seared scallops over a bed of wilted spinach and four cheese risotto. Delicious!

Attempt number two: salmon, quinoa, and asparagus. I learned that I really just don’t like Salmon. Or quinoa for that matter.

Portion control 🙂

Relaxing nights in our backyard.

A trip to the Visionary Arts Museum following brunch (with bottomless mimosas and bloody mary’s) for my husband’s birthday!
